Cincinnati-Based Executive Carene Kunkler

Carene Kunkler is an experienced executive with a career spanning more than 30 years. She has established herself in various leadership positions including vice president of product supply at LensCrafters. Over the course of 10 years, Carene Kunkler helped develop key branded products like LensCrafters' anti-reflective and scratch-resistant lenses.

Previously, Ms. Kunkler served as a brand manager with Procter and Gamble. During her time there, she was responsible for several product lines including Pert Shampoo and Mr. Clean. As Pert Shampoo’s brand manager, she helped rebrand the product using the Shampoo and Conditioner in 1 technology, launching it to the top position in the shampoo category.

Ms. Kunkler attended Michigan State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing. As an undergraduate student, she was actively involved with the university’s sports teams, including serving as vice president of the rugby club. She later also obtained an MBA from the school. Outside her professional life, she enjoys yoga and skiing.
